Strain Review: Gangster Grape

Gangster Grape

Smell Test: Don’t even know where to begin on explain how exquisite the aroma is on this one of a kind strain. Only way to really describe it was extremely fruity and very strong sent. It’s so strong it’ll have heads turning across the room within seconds of popping the top. Best smelling Grape Ape strain crosses I’ve smelled to date.

Sight Test: The photo says it all. It was by far the best purple strain I have had in Months. Not one negative thing to say about the looks of this beautiful flower. Not only is there perfect trichome development, there is TONS of it. Completely frosted from tip to stem.

Pinch Test: Density on these buds were just right. Not to airy and not hard like a rock; just right. Its one of those strains you get that you almost don’t want to break it up or damage because its so flawless.

Taste Test: The inhale was surprisingly semi-smooth with a medium expansion and out of this world taste. It was at its peak of freshness and burned beautifully. Would love to shake the hand of the person(s) who grew this strain.

Brain Test: Effects were a very uplifting body high that would be ideal for Insomnia or Pain. Great for neck pain or and/or headaches. Had me nodding out while watching T.V. and kept me out till the next morning.

Tools: Sovereignty Grid Cap to 8arm – Very clean yet large rip with great results. Tool of choice when going to sleep.

    Another great review Dan, and another amazing photo Gil. I love me some grape ape and if I had to guess its crossed with OG kush? If it was that sounds like a match made in heaven.

    I love the bright electric green bits screaming next the deep purple.

    They got some of this exact strain at P.O.T. in Anaheim right now but prepare to pay for it; $30 a gram $75 an 1/8th. I know thats pricey but personally, I would try to scrounge up the $75 and make it happen. Truly once in a life time strain :D

    Wow 75 a eighth? Will So-Cal’s obnoxious prices for MMJ ever come down to regular prices? (I know that they have started to recently, I just hate seeing patients pay out the ass for good smoke)

    I grow this strain for one dispensary in San Jose and it’s sold for 50 a eight. I have been offered thousands for some cuts of this strain but I swore to the special person to only keep the genetics to myself. The 4 patients I grow for get 2oz. of herb and a few grams of hash and oil for free every 10 weeks.. Yes Free.

    Only reason I got the genetics was to trade for my real nor-cal super pheno GDP it truns dark purple even if the temps are high and tastes like peanut butter n grape jelly sandwich with extra jelly. That gdp has the best taste you could imagine but this Gangster Grape has the THC power of the gods.

    I’ll say one thing this… Gangster Grape is one of the those “holy shit!” strains and one of the most ass kicking medicines I have ever smoked. If I take more than 3 bong hits I go into a coma. It’s the type of herbs that needs to go to the HTCC because it will win!

    This is SUCH a good medical strains.
