Strain Review: Lemon Kush

Smell Test: Smells as you would expect a perfect combination of a citrusy, lemony scent with the faint earthy tones of Kush. If the nuggs are sitting in the medicine jar and you open your jar up, the lemon scent will be predominant but I felt as you brought an individual nugg up to your nose, it actually smelt more kushy with a citrus hint which I thought was interesting.

Sight Test: Not the most stunning visually when viewed in person but I was fortunate to see the pictures of the Lemon Kush at the actual photoshoot for nugporn.com and there were trichromes galore on this nugg. Lemon Kush has impressive crystal coverage and red hairs throughout the nugg. Even though Lemon Kush is considered a 50/50 hybrid the shape of the nug has the pineconey appearance seen in batches of Kush.

Pinch Test: Nugg kept same shape during pinch test. While completing the pinch test, the earthy, kushy scent overpowered the lemony scent you initially notice when looking at the Lemon Kush. The meds broke quite well by hand and burned evenly when smoked.

Taste Test: I was lucky enough to try this strain out of a Volcano at We The People with the photographer and the staff. The vape bag gave off a great citrusy taste and it initial exposure, followed by the smokey, earthy taste we are all accustomed to with Master Kush. Out of a bong or a vape bag, the Lemon Kush provides a smooth smoke at first contact followed by an easy exhale, finish. I found the taste to be one of the most enjoyable traits of this strain. It is a nice mix of Citrus and Kush.

Brain Test: You feel the high shortly after exhale within the front brow area of your face and head. After a few vape bags, I felt the high had a good 50/50 dispersal between sativa and indica tendencies. It was a very energetic smoke, would be perfect during the AM and afternoon. The body high from the Master Kush was mellow but not overpowering allowing the patient to thrive in a public setting. A very productive med.
