Strain Review: Skywalker

Smell Test: Skywalker is a pleasant smelling mmj strain. This batch from the uber new Green Crop Co-Op provides a fruity smell from the Blueberry portion of the strain but adds a little musk from the Mazar of this unique indica-dominant hybrid. The fruity scent radiating from a nice break-up of a Skywalker nugg becomes quite citrusy compared to when you view Skywalker in a mason jar.

Sight Test: Nice looking mix of dark and light green help define the exterior of the Skywalker. Larger sized nuggs are a defining trait of its visual appearance. It is a very crystally strain that reveals a possible high THC content in potency. When examined in close range I was able to see a large amount of trichrome coverage on this batch of Skywalker. While looking at the trichrome coverage of this nugg, another thing that stood out was the awesome looking red hairs on it.

Pinch Test: As mentioned earlier, when the Skywalker was broken up, the citrus scent from the Blueberry dominates the room. This is a very sticky batch of mmj. I highly recommend using a grinder to break up this strain for ease and convenience. The heavy dose of crystals on the Skywalker makes it a tad difficult to break it up for a quick snapper causing the burn to not be as smooth. The grinder helped alleviate this aggravation and provided an even burn with a b-line.

Taste Test: A smooth, citrusy inhale followed by a smooth, musky, piney exhale. The taste isn’t what stands out for the Skywalker; it’s the immediate impact of the Skywalker high. Pretty much after exhale, you feel the indica dominant traits with a surprisingly heady start.

Brain Test: Incredibly medicating. As mentioned in the taste test, you will feel a cerebral high that could assist a patient suffering from headaches or migraines upon initial hit. Although, I felt the couchlock and relaxing body high was the most pleasurable effect of the Skywalker. This strain is one you would probably want to use after work, in the evening, or when you have some free time with nothing to do. The body high from the Skywalker would be beneficial to pain sufferers and as is the case with most indicas it could definitely assist against insomnia too. The Skywalker is a very mellow strain that can be enjoyed by medicators with an extremely high tolerance due to its high potency. This strain is worth checking out at the Green Crop Co-Op.
