Strain Review: Skywalker OG

Smell Test: My absolute favorite of the OG variants; the SkyWalker OG emits an earthy and undeniable OG Kush smell that completely overwhelms its Blueberry X Mazar counterpart. Even when burned, its noxious lemon-garlic odor can be smelled a block away, no joke. I could only get a faint whiff of blueberries when I gave the flower a little squeeze and smelled my fingers.

Sight Test: Its color is made up of light and olive green buds with thin orange to amber pistils protruding from its core. Some of the larger nugs are a little leafy, but act as shields, protecting clusters of precious trichome villages within the flower.

Pinch Test: It has a mildly moist and sticky feel to it which makes it almost impossible to break up with your bare hands. As gummy as this strain is, the pinch still offered quite some resistance. I also noticed that some buds were a lot more dense than others, especially the smaller popcorn nuggets.

Taste Test: The intense, grab you by the throat, earthy taste you get through a filtered bubbler/bong is incredible, and through my vape I was still able to taste it on my pallet 5 minutes after exhaling. Whatever you do, do not roll this in a blunt. Though it will completely stupefy you, the tobacco totally takes away from its savory flavor.

Brain Test: It’s high is also equally amazing. I’m able to get such sound sleep from this strain, but don’t smoke right before you go to bed because there’s an intense rush that can be felt around your eyes and above your ears (in the temple area) for the first 30 or so minutes before you begin to feel its drowsy effects. It’s also very good for pain relief and stimulating appetite.

Tools: For my findings I use a L.E.D. magnifying glass, 420 scope, sparkling clean 2 foot binger, bubbler, and V2 volcano vaporizer.
